**Part Time, Transport Compliance Coordinator**

**Salary**:£26,000 - £30,000 per year pro rata (£13,866 - £16,000)

**Job type**:Part time 20 hrs per week, Monday to Friday

hours of work 10.00am - 14.00pm (flexible)

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a part-time **Transport Compliance Coordinator, **reporting to the General Manager, you will be responsible for assisting in the safe, smooth, and efficient day to day running of the Transport compliance, whilst also supporting the wider compliance service.

This is a demanding role where you will be expected to liaise with various departments within the organisation, including senior management to provide updates on progress and feedback any issues.

**Responsibilities**
- Ensure compliance with transport regulations and company policies.
- Maintaining the Transport assets register and ensuring all Transport property is returned daily such as Sat Nav’s.
- Ensuring all paperwork is scanned, filed correctly as required.
- Provide reports to Transport/Assistant Transport Manager on KPI’s.
- Ensuring drivers are complying with their daily pre/post vehicle checks - spot checks
- Maintaining owned vehicle, leased and hired vehicle records.
- Maintain accurate and up to date records of transportation activities including collection paperwork.
- De-briefing drivers daily and ensure all relevant paperwork is completed correctly and filed.
- Coordinate, administer and schedule regular maintenance for the transport fleet.
- Ensure that all vehicles comply with safety regulations and standards.
- Work closely with the Transport/Assistant Transport Manager being sure to escalate issues in a timely manner.
- Liaise with internal departments, including Warehouse and Customer Service as well as external stakeholders, such as customers/suppliers.
- Administering purchase order requests and recording related costs
- Maintaining drivers hour records and vehicle mileage reports
- Placing orders with suppliers and progress chasing where necessary
- Producing data and information reports for Senior Managers
- Administering fuel card controls and reporting on fuel card transactions
- Taxing of vehicles
- Collating vehicle revenue reports
- Maintaining the Companys driving license check system
- Assisting in non-compliance reporting and follow ups
- Attend and participate in relevant meetings and training sessions
- Undertake any additional tasks as may reasonably be required
- Ensuring all compliance with VOSA and Working Time Regulations
- Uploading and analysing driver information
- Provide reports to Transport/Assistant Transport Manager on KPI’s.
- Ensure compliance with transport regulations and company policies.

**About you**:

- Previous experience in a similar Transport / Logistics administrative role is preferred.
- Knowledge of the various compliance legislation is required even though training will be provided.
- Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills
- Ability to problem solve and suggest effective resolutions.
- Excellent proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Self-motivated, possessing a good attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Professional telephone manner and communication skills
- Ability to meet deadlines in a time pressured environment.
- Experience with DVSA, VOSA, Operators Licence Awareness is advantageous.
- Have a great attention to detail and accuracy.

Due to the location of the site access by public transport is limited and therefore applicants are advised to have their own transport for which free parking is available on site.
