We are looking for a suitably experienced and qualified applicant to start as soon as possible in joining our Horticultural Team as an Assistant Horticulturist in the Display Team of the Botanic Garden (Maternity cover). Responsible to the Team Leader (Horticultural Display) the role holder is responsible for assisting in the maintenance, care and curation of the Garden's varied landscapes and plantings.

Horticultural knowledge and practical experience are essential to fulfil this role to assist the team in ensuring that the collections are developed and maintained to a high standard. The collections and areas within this role are popular with visitors and are an important resource for research and education purposes within the Garden, University and the wider botanical and horticultural community.
