Seeking to recruit an addition to their Customs team, the new assistant will bring a minimum of 6 months' exposure to customs declarations/ entries - either in a fully operational or a support capacity - or at the very least, some experience working in theforwarding sector in a data driven and operationally supportive role.
A basic understanding of the current CHIEF system is needed, ideally exposure to the new CDS software (customs declaration service) is ideal. You will ideally be familiar with basic 'Home Use' entries - and understand the complexities of declaring goods ona groupage basis - both incoming and outgoing.
You will bring a steadfast passion for service delivery and quality in your contributions - the team handle high volumes in a fast paced and vibrant environment. Commitment is key, as is an eye for detail and strong organisational skills.
