Forklift Operator/labourer

**D.W.Clark & Sons Ltd, is a well established transport and warehousing business based in Maldon, Essex,**

We are looking for a Forklift Operator to move packages and materials around our facilities. You will be operating a forklift with the utmost care to ensure efficiency and safety. Your job could involve driving around warehouses, storage spaces and other facilities. You must be a responsible individual with great experience in driving industrial vehicles. The goal will be to ensure that material and products will always be at the right place to achieve maximum efficiency. Part of your requirements will be to load and unload vehicles as they arrive, You will be part of a team loading palletised freight onto our double deck fleet for Pallet Network deliveries.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of 2 years experience driving forklifts
- A valid driver license with a good driving record
- Ability to work in a team of forklift operators
- A good understanding of safety procedures with emphasis on following all legal regulations and guidelines
- Ability to work under various conditions including but not limited to extreme temperatures, heavy lifting and repetitive motions
- Shifts are from 6am - 2:30pm, 12:30noon to 8pm but until all loaded finish ( overtime )

**Responsibilities**:

- Operate forklift in a safe manner according to legal guidelines.
- Safely move materials and packages around the company’s facilities.
- Ensure that material and products will always be at the right place to achieve maximum efficiency.
- Perform safety checks and record results.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From £25,480.00 per year
