**About the role**

We have a new and exciting opportunity for a Timetabling Advisor, or someone looking to start their career in Higher Education, to work within the Timetabling and Module Selection team. As a Timetabling Advisor, you will gain invaluable experience and insight into key timetabling and module selection activities, having an important and positive impact on our students.

You will play a key role within the team. Focusing on maintaining accurate data, specifically around student module choices and maintenance of module records, you will be fundamental in supporting our students through their student journey. This is your chance to provide a dynamic and effective service to our customers, responding to enquiries relating to timetables from students, academics and professional service staff as well as providing a room booking service that supports the delivery of important non-teaching activities i.e tutorials, exams and events.

Working in a highly visible, customer facing position, you will become an indispensable and relied upon member of the University’s professional services function, and this is a fantastic opportunity to further your career in this area. Full training will also be provided to enable you to make the most of this career opportunity.

**About you (requirements)**

You will be enthusiastic with a positive and proactive approach to a busy and ever-changing environment. We would be really interested to hear about your experience of working under pressure and meeting often competing priorities, as this will show your ability to manage a busy workload and meet tight deadlines.

We would love to hear about your experiences where you have taken the lead to resolve difficult and complex scenarios, as this will show your excellent problem solving and analytical skills as well as your ability to use your own initiative and respond appropriately to situations as they arise.

As a Timetabling Advisor, you will bring a passion for helping our customers. You will be able to communicate clearly and effectively as you deal with a wide variety of people. An eye for detail and accurate working is essential for written communication and for maintaining student records.

We teach around 8,000 students at our campuses around Bath, including the parkland estate Newton Park, and Locksbrook Road, our new state-of-the-art campus in the city centre. Our research centres focus on creative industries and humanities.
