Working for a specialist manufacturing Company in Uxbridge, West London, we have an urgent role for a glassworker to join a busy production facility.
- The role involves flame-sealing of glass components on sealing-in machines and glass lathes.
- Full training provided. Excellent attention to detail and hand-eye coordination required, together with someone comfortable working with gas flames.**The salary**
- £11.50 per hour (£22,425 per annum).
- Hours of work: 7am to 330pm Monday to Thursday, 7am to 12-noon Friday (37.5 hrs per week).

**Key responsibilities**
- Sealing of photomultipliers using sealing-in machine
- Use of glassblower lathe
- Manufacture of glass bases

**Personal skills**
- Excellent attention to detail and hand-eye coordination
- Multi-tasking skills
- Ability to communicate clearly in English
