Maintenance Operative

We require an all round maintenance operative to join our expanding business maintaining industrial units and their grounds. Applicants must posses experience in painting, plumbing - installing toilets and hand basins, joinery including doors and basic kitchens, ground works, brick and block work. Must have a clean driving license and be willing to drive a company van from company base to different sites each day and return to base at end of shift, covering from Consett to North Yorkshire. Mon - Thurs 7.30 - 4 Friday 7.30 - 12.30. Overtime / Saturdays available.

**Responsibilities**:

- Communicate with team members.
- Read and follow work instruction and risk assessments
- Perform on-site tasks.
- Demonstrate knowledge of construction techniques.
- Utilise a variety of tools and equipment to perform tasks.
- Be a good team player.
- Assist fellow workers.
- Must be able to drive company van from base to site and back

**Salary**: £450.00 per week

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

- Yearly bonus

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Stanley: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Construction: 6 years (required)

- Driving Licence (required)
