Greencroft Bottling is one of the largest contract filling companies in the UK. Construction of a new purpose-built 240,000 ft2 (22,296m2) bottling facility at our main site in County Durham is now almost complete. Greencroft Two will be one of the most modern and environmentally sustainable wine bottling facilities in the world. Housing new filling lines and processing equipment it will enable us to increase our capacity to 400 million litres per year

Currently we are capable of filling up to 90,000 bottles and boxes of wine per hour - the equivalent of up to 200 million litres per year. Working with some of the world's leading wine companies, wines bottled on the Greencroft site are supplied to retailers throughout the UK and Ireland. We pride ourselves on our outstanding quality and attention to detail with a dedicated Quality Assurance team and, as such, are BRC Grade AA+ rated.

Our automated production lines enable us to pack a range of products in a variety of formats, including 187ml glass and PET, 37.5cl, 50cl, 70cl, 75cl, 1l and 1.5l. We can aso fill 2.25 litre, 3 litre and 18 litre bag-in-box as well as keg and pouches. We have installed the UK's first wine canning line capable of filling still and sparking wine and RTDs in 187ml, 200ml and 250ml slim line can formats

**Job Purpose**:
Oversee and manage Blending operations. To perform those duties to ensure good manufacturing practice ensuring safety, quality and legality throughout the process

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Blend products to fixed recipes
- Checking and correctly storing incoming ingredients
- Cleaning in place (CIP) of all blending plant and other equipment as required
- Complete all quality documentation as required
- Perform alcohol strength (ABV) analysis on blended products
- Enter completed blend details onto QAD (our Quality System and Documentation system)
- Update tank room board with blend details
- Coordination of online testing of product quality procedures
- Adherence to COSHH and HACCP practices

**Safety**:

- Ensure all duties are carried out in accordance with current H&S, environmental and food safety legislation and procedures.
- Use all PPE and equipment as instructed.
- Maintain a safe working environment at all times.

Report any serious malfunctions or risks to a responsible person

You will work 12 hour shifts on Sunday, Wednesday and Thursday each week

Pay: From £17.76 per hour

Expected hours: 33.75 per week
