Kennel and Cattery Assistant

We are looking for a hard working, reliable and friendly individual to join our small team. Must have a love and good understanding of animals and their behaviour/well-being, be physically fit to carry out all aspects of the role, have good communication skills, be willing to work in all weathers and be able to work as a team and on your own.
Duties will include: Dog walking, cleaning kennels and cat pens to high standard, feeding, administering medication when needed, communicating with customers face to face and over the phone, taking bookings and payments
Previous experience in the animal care industry and/or relevant animal care qualification is **essential**
Due to our location, own transport is necessary (on-site parking available)
Hours: 37 hours p/w consisting of split shifts on weekdays
- Mon 8-11am and 3-5:30pm
- Tue 8-12pm and 3-5:30pm
- Wed 8-11am and 3-5:30pm
- Thu 8-11am and 3-5:30pm
- Fri 8-11am and 3-5:30pm
- Sat - off
- Sun 8 - 5:30pm
Split shifts would suit applicants living in Crewkerne and surrounding area
