**Position**: C++ Linux Software Engineer

**Location of Office**: Oxford

**Package Includes**:Salary up to £55,000 + 7% pension, exceptional EMI share scheme from day one, private medical insurance, flexi-time and more

**The Role**: An opportunity for a C++ Software Engineer with Linux system experience to join a financially secure start-up company who specialize in the medical device sector. You will be joining a small development team and as such be giventhe opportunity to play a key role in all future development decisions.

Joining the company at such an early stage, you will be able to join their excellent EMI share option scheme, given you ownership of valuable shares from day one.

You will be working on the development of a medical treatment that is required by millions of people globally every single day. The uniqueness of the treatment that you will be developing is that the patient recovery time is reduced from 3 months to 1 day.It is truly game changing and will make a huge positive impact to millions of people's lives globally.

In this role you will be working closely within a team environment developing software in C/C++ to run within a Linux system made up of a host of open-source tools and packages. You will be working to modern processes and contribute to the development ofautomated test frameworks, bespoke software packages and developing new features and functionality.

**Required Skills and Experience**:

- Strong C/C++ programming
- Linux based development
- Open-Source tools

**Desirable Skills and Experience**
- Linux kernel or Linux device driver development
- Jira, Jenkins, Git or Doxygen
- Python
