Engagement Tutor

Are you looking for flexible working hours during the day? Do you enjoy supporting disengaged pupils?

You will be working with pupils who are not currently attending school. These pupils have gaps in their education and have high levels of anxiety. Depending on the pupils' situation, tuition can take place in their home or online. Each pupil is allocated between 10 and 15 hours of tuition per week so you will typically be working 2-3 hours per day, per student.

Responsibilities as an Engagement Tutor:

- Working with students in their homes, community centres or public libraries delivering education to disengaged students
- Planning and delivering individual sessions based upon the student's targets, skills, interests and complex and emotional needs
- Documenting and providing evidence of learning by reporting on individual sessions
- Providing a safe and engaging environment for your student(s) and to make Safeguarding the highest of priorities

- Good communication and interpersonal skills
