Credit Advisor

Bradfords Building Supplies Ltd is a leading independent builders’ merchant based across the South West of England. We know our strength lies in our people and the service we offer and we continue to build on this by bringing great people into our teams.

We are now looking for an experienced **Credit Advisor** to join our team in Honiton, Devon. Supporting the Credit Manager and our Regional Directors, this role is responsible for ensuring that credit accounts are managed appropriately and that any customer queries are managed in line with company policy and in a timely manner. In addition, you must be able to assess and balance risk, in order to grow our portfolio.

The role will involve communicating with internal and external customers both on the phone and in writing. This will include discussions around collection and negotiation of payments, undertaking credit limit reviews and assisting with any queries that our customers may have.

You must be able to communicate confidently and be passionate about helping our customers and the business. Strong customer service skills, together with current experience of working within a credit services department are therefore essential. You will be highly organised, able to prioritise, and possess excellent administration skills, given there is a high volume of accounts to manage. Full training on our computer system will be provided.
