Can you picture yourself working with a highly experienced and specialised team, reducing oral health inequalities in Nottinghamshire?

If your answer is ‘yes’ and you see yourself as a caring, flexible and approachable person where you will be appreciated by community groups and the team, then this is the place for you.

What are we looking for?

You will be a confident communicator and able to deliver “train the trainer” oral health sessions to schools and groups in the community across Nottinghamshire. Your experience of participation in health campaigns and the production of high-quality resources will demonstrate your creativity and imagination. You will liaise closely with external partners to deliver coordinated care and seek further opportunities to improve the oral health of our population.

You will have proficient IT skills; accuracy and promptness are important. You will understand the oral health needs of our local population, engaging positively with those most vulnerable to oral health inequalities and disadvantage.

Main duties include providing oral health promotion to vulnerable groups in the community along with formal and informal training for a variety of employees working in the community, including health professionals and peer educators.

Working patterns are flexible within the hours Monday to Friday, 8.30am - 6.00pm. Occasionally you will be required to work outside these hours. This is a Nottinghamshire-wide role, so car drivers are essential.

What do we offer?
- Part time, permanent contract, 30 hours per week
- Starting salary gross £25,147 per year, pro rata
- 27 days holiday plus bank holidays, pro rata
- Access to Corporate Pension Scheme
- 24/7 access to an Employee Assistance Programme
- Funded internal and external mandatory training to enable you to maintain your CPD
- Support with training for your wider professional development.
- Uniforms provided
- Become a shareholder and have a say in how our organisation is run at all levels
- Opportunity to play a key part in local social care initiatives

Please ensure that you read the Job Description, which also includes the person specification, before applying.
