**Role Description**:
The Operational Risk and Control (OR&C) Team provides 1st line risk support to FCO&DCS (FX, Commodity Operations & Derivatives Confirmations and settlements) management, including identification and remediation of risk issues, audit issue management, investigationof operational losses, and management and preparation for regulatory and audit reviews.
FCO&DCS Operations performs end to end trade control, confirmation and settlements processes across FX and Commodities, and confirmations and settlement processes across Equity and Fixed Income Derivatives businesses globally. FCO&DCS is part of Global MarketOperations who provide operational support to the Global Markets Business.
**Responsibilities**:
- Driving the review and oversight of the Single Process Inventory (SPI) governance framework, across FCO&DCS LOB's to ensure deadlines and deliverables are met
- Evaluate new policy requirements for FCO&DCS to understand the relevant impact and changes applicable in order to effectively communicate those requirements
- Evaluate new LRR requirements for FCO&DCS to understand the relevant impact and changes applicable in order to effectively communicate those requirements
- Central point of contact for managing external regulatory examinations and internal audits for FCO&DCS
- Facilitating all aspects of the evaluation and assessment process in support of the Risk Control Self Assessments (RCSAs) for FCO&DCS
- Perform risk reviews to identify risk and issues and work with management team to identify appropriate solutions
- Reviewing and maintaining the FCO&DCS OR&C procedure inventory to ensure enterprise requirements are delivered and partnering with GMO risk colleagues to ensure consistency
- Research and Investigate ad-hoc Risk and Control or governance inquiries across FCO&DCS horizontally
