Assistant Greenkeeper

**Salary: Up to £9.60 an hour**

40 Hour week - Monday to Friday with occasional weekend work

May to October seasonal contract

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, highly motivated individual to join our greenkeeping team at Sandburn Hall, York.

Sandburn Hall is a family run business boasting an impressive clubhouse, restaurant, sports Hall and not forgetting the reputable 18 Hole + 3 academy hole golf course. New hotel and driving range now open

With a development plan in place, changes and improvements are made on the course year on year and this only enhances the great reputation the club already has in the area.

**Requirements**:

- No experience necessary just an interest in greenkeeping
- The ability to work on own or as part of a team
- Good communication skills
- Full UK driving license
- Can work some weekends on a rota basis

**About us**:
Sandburn Hall is a family run leisure business. Our new 40-bed hotel opened in May 2021 adding to the business which has an 18-hole golf course, sports bar, Tykes restaurant & 3 function rooms.
We are surrounded by beautiful lakes and woodland, located at Flaxton, just off the A64, approx. 8 miles from York.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temporary contract, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 4 - 5 months

Pay: £11.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
