The Practice Educator role is to enhance the quality of the learning environment by providing the educational input and development and evaluation of activities in support of registered nurses, clinical support workers and other members of the multi-disciplinary team within Clinical neurosciences.

In collaboration with the Clinical Nurse Manager, Advanced Nurse Practitioners, Clinical Nurse Specialist and Charge Nurses of the various clinical areas within Clinical Neurosciences, co-ordinate and facilitate the educational needs and resources available across DCN patient pathways to ensure that patients are cared for to the highest standard.

It is expected that the post holder will be flexible and work across professional and team boundaries when necessary within Neurosurgery, Level 1 and Neurology.

Develop, facilitate and deliver local Principles & Practice of Neuroscience Nursing education course for Neurosciences
