Costain are recruiting for an **Electrical Project Engineer**to work on our CMDP framework with Southern Water.

**About the project**

CMDP is a joint venture between Costain and MWHT and delivers a range of schemes to maintain and improve Southern Water's water supply and wastewater treatment works in the eastern half of it's region (Kent & Sussex)

**Key responsibilities**

Ensuring your work is undertaken safely in accordance with Company Procedures, specifications, and good working practices
Ensuring the smooth and efficient co-ordination of all electrical design activities on allocated Nitrate reduction schemes
Reporting of electrical design activities and progress to the relevant C&DL, MEICA & Commissioning Manager and Area MEICA Managers
Provide subcontract management support during the scheme close out phase
Technical input, review and selection of sub contract tenders, supplier specification and scope of works
Coordinate, review and monitor design deliverables such as Schedules, Specifications & Drawings and procurement deliverables
Assist in the review of design deliverables, including FDS, equipment and instrument lists, P&IDs, control philosophy and telemetry requirements

**About you**

Skills, knowledge, and experience of CDM and Design
Previous ICA experience
Strong Technical understanding of Water and Waste water treatment
Flexibility and adaptability to be able to respond rapidly to unexpected events, having the ability to develop creative solutions to problems
Significant electrical experience
HNC/HND or degree in a relevant engineering discipline
SMSTS qualification
