To liaise with the Property Manager to ensure that the Company properties are kept in good repair and any problems are identified and attended to in a timely manner.

To carry out routine maintenance and minor alterations and building works to minimise external costs as directed by the Property Manager and the Directors.

To be fully conversant with company policies and procedures insofar as they relate to the maintenance of the Company’s properties and the use of materials for own use.

To observe the Company’s health and safety policy and waste management and environmental management and asbestos procedures.

To be aware of and observe the Company’s risk reduction measures and to adopt safe working practices at all times and wear PPE provided.

To work with sub-contractors where directed.

To account for and book out all materials used in accordance with Company procedures.

To deal with basic gardening services, clearing out guttering or minor building repairs.

**Essential Skills**:
General practical skills including plumbing, plastering, tiling etc.

To be clean and tidy in appearance and wear company uniform where provided.

To be courteous, enthusiastic and cheerful.

To set a good example to less senior members of staff.

To handle responsibility in a professional manner.

Be thorough and pay attention to detail.

To act with initiative.

To communicate effectively with people at all levels.
