This is why we are looking for a forward-thinking Machinery & Business Assets Surveyor to join the team.

The role is to assist with every day running and management of all case work. It will be expected that you will be able to assist with the following:

- Issuing Terms of Engagement Letters to Clients following info from Job Sheet
- Inspecting assets and noting down important information (Make/Model/Serial Number/Age etc)
- Typing up Inventory & Associated Valuation Letters
- Dealing with Finance Companies in order to ascertain settlement figures
- Collating and Analysing comparable evidence (Historic sales results in order to determine current value of items)
- Discussing and Offering opinions of best possible sale method (Auction/Private Treaty/Tender)
- Implementing Sales strategy - pulling together marketing material - booking in adverts - cataloguing and photographing items
- Assisting with Retention of Title Claims (ROT) - full training will be provided
- Managing general case progression.

Training can and will be given if/where required.

We are open to the level of individual for this role so perhaps a Graduate with a real-estate/property degree or someone who has 5 years’ experience of Asset valuations and surveying - and anyone in between
