**Working hours - 37.5 per week, Monday - Friday 9am - 5:30pm (flexibility required, including early mornings and evenings)**

**Salary - £27,000 - £39,300 per annum (depending on experience)**

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an MDT Lead to join the Portland Hospital for Women and Children. The role of the Lead will be to support the growth and development of all the MDTs across the Portland Hospital to ensure that we are aligned to National Standards and accessible to all consultants practising within the hospital.

**Duties & Responsibilities**
- Administer and support the MDT’s across the Portland to ensure all consultants have access to appropriate MDT’s for patients
- To ensure all documentation is accurate and complies with HCA MDT guidelines and to take notes at the meetings
- Assist with facilitation of cover across the Governance team where needed
- Support with data imputing for national databases
- Ensure the facility accesses the MDT for the specialism in a timely manner by influencing clinical staff to utilise all available MDT’s
- Facilitate effective communication across sites building trust and co-operation from the diverse workforce groups
- Promote a positive learning environment where changes are established and embedded to improve patient safety, experience and outcomes
- Lead on lessons learned taking appropriate action and response to mistakes or service failures and ensuring an open learning culture is fostered
- Perform audit analysis to ensure all MDTs are performing, collating reports of audit findings, implement action plans and review
- Foster trusting relationships with external stakeholders including consultants and Medical Secretaries

**Skills & Experience**
- Substantial experience working as an MDT Coordinator
- Excellent word/excel/powepoint experience
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Experience of multi professional working
