Ely, United Kingdom Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust Full time

The NHS Reserve is a ground-breaking scheme for NHS England and exists to create a dedicated pool of workers to complement existing system-wide NHS workforces.

The NHS Reserve harness many years of knowledge and experience to support targeted health campaigns such as COVID-19 vaccination, flu vaccinations, continuous care assessments & discharge to assess, and task orientated roles.

The NHS Reserve is a compelling alternative to working on bank with work-life flexibility and limited commitment. We offer the opportunity to work with like-minded health and social care professionals to support both planned and surges in workforce demand through seasonal variation and emergency priorities.

Please see the attached Job Description & Person Specification for specific details relating to this NHS Reserve post.

Come and join our new and innovative NHS Reserve, we are recruiting now

The NHS Reserve is an exciting new way of working and supports your local health community. We will offer you a temporary worker contract with meaningful, paid work in a number of different health care settings, close to home, working the hours that suit you within a vibrant community of passionate, like minded clinical and corporate professionals.

We’ve been running successfully since December 2020 and many of our Reservists tell us they love the work, the flexibility and the social interaction with others, whilst still retaining a work life balance and enjoying other aspects of their social and family life.

Signing up is easy and we will guide you through, with a simple joining process and on-hand support. We will ensure you have all the right training and pastoral support to give you the competence and confidence in your practice.

We hold regular communication events, newsletters and celebration days.
