**JOB VACANCY**:
**Dementia Advisor (Maternity Cover)**:

- 22.5 - 30 hours per week
- £17,369 - £23,159 per year (based on full-time salary of £28,949)
- 6 months fixed term contract with possibility of extension
- Based in Greenwich
- Hybrid working considered in line with policy

The **Greenwich MindCare Dementia Information and Support Service** is an exciting service which delivers high quality support to enhance the quality of life, choice and opportunities for Greenwich residents diagnosed with dementia.

The service provides comprehensive person-centred support to people with dementia and their carers, alongside carer-specific workshops and raising awareness to improve the experience of people with dementia.

Dementia Advisors provide advice, information and person-centred individual support, including signposting and community bridge building to help people access community resources. With experience of working in health or social care, including in community-based services, you will have good communication, assessment, and support planning skills.

Successful applicants will be expected to undergo an Enhanced Level Disclosure and Barring Service check.
