As an SME Account Handler, you will be supporting the Account Executive on SME premiums within a leading, independent insurance broker located in West Yorkshire.

My client works with UK based brokers in the local area and have won multiple awards over the years for their excellent, personal service through a range of products within personal, commercial and financial lines.

This role would be idea for someone with sme insurance experience that is looking to get into an account handler position. There are opportunities to progress into a commercial account handler and account manager.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Acting alongside the Account Executive
- Working on new and existing business for policies with premiums up to £5000GWP
- Servicing, administration, and broking of general insurance policies
- Building and maintaining several business relationships via face-to-face meetings and regular check-ups
- Be the first point of contact for day-to-day enquiries from clients, providers and other internal and external sources

**Key Attributes**
- Previous SME experience
- Knowledge of a variety of products
- Strong broking knowledge
- Confident speaking with people
