Banff Tyre Services - County Garage have been serving Banff and the surrounding area for over 40 years. As an independent garage we offer a wide range of services - taking care of all of a customers’ motoring needs. Services we provide range from: MOTs; Services; Tyres; Repairs; Fault finding and rebuilds. Working as a team we pride ourself on offering a great personalised service to the customer.

We are seeking an Administrator to join our small team.
- Ensure a positive and constructive front-office atmosphere for all customers and suppliers
- Liaise effectively with garage colleagues on matters of scheduling, parts-requirement and availability and customer expectation management
- Ensure timely ordering of parts to meet the agreed garage schedule
- Ensure timely and accurate billing and payment of accounts due
- Ensure accurate accounting of income, expenditure and future tax liabilities
- Expedite aged debts
- Ensure all payroll entitlements are accurately recorded and paid
- Coordinate scheduling of leave requirements, staff absences and scheduled workload to ensure efficient working to meet customer requirements
- Ensure compliance with appropriate licensing and regulatory requirements

Duties include but are not limited to:

- Managing Customer relations
- Managing Suppliers relations
- Process weekly payroll
- Manage accounts
- Manage all Banking transactions

**Required**
- Good communication skills
- Familiarity with and experience of office administration for a garage
- Basic book-keeping and record keeping skills for a small business
- Ability to plan and schedule work and staff availability within known constraints
- Ability to plan and schedule tasks recognising customer requirements and the need for personal well-being
- Basic IT and database update skills
- Awareness of basic health & safety and environmental management processes
- A good understanding of MS Office (Word & excel)

**Preferred**

Familiarity with the following software packages
- Sage Accounts,
- Sage Payroll,
- GS One (Garage package),
- Cozone (Accounts package),
- DVLA MOT recording and quality control requirements

**Education**:

- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Administrative experience: 2 years (preferred)

**Language**:

- English (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)
