We are looking for 3 letting agents to join our fantastic real estate letting team. The primary responsibility of a letting agent is to market and advertise rental properties, find and vet suitable tenants, negotiate lease agreements, and ensure that all legal requirements are met. Letting agents also handle the maintenance and repair of rental properties, deal with tenant complaints and collect rent payments.

**Your role**:

- Marketing rental properties: This involves creating and posting advertisements for available properties and promoting them to potential tenants through various channels.
- Showing properties: Letting agents are often responsible for showing rental properties to prospective tenants, answering questions, and providing information about the property and the surrounding area.
- Managing maintenance and repairs: Letting agents are responsible for addressing any maintenance or repair issues that arise with the property. This may involve coordinating with contractors, scheduling repairs, and ensuring that the work is completed to a high standard.
- Managing leases and contracts: Letting agents are responsible for preparing leases and rental agreements, ensuring that they are legally compliant and accurately reflect the terms of the rental arrangement.
- Keeping accurate records: Letting agents must maintain accurate records of rent payments, lease agreements, maintenance and repair work, and tenant information.

**Key Skills**:

- Strong Communication Skills: Letting agents must have excellent communication skills to interact with landlords, tenants, contractors, and other stakeholders. They should be able to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing, to ensure that everyone understands their roles and responsibilities.
- Attention to Detail: A letting agent should be meticulous and pay close attention to details to avoid errors, omissions or miscommunication that could lead to legal issues.
- Negotiation Skills: Letting agents should be able to negotiate effectively with landlords and tenants to ensure that all parties are satisfied with the terms of the lease.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Letting agents should have good problem-solving skills to address any issues that arise during the lease period.
- Marketing and Sales Skills: A letting agent should be able to market rental properties effectively to attract suitable tenants. They should have sales skills to persuade tenants to sign lease agreements.
- Customer Service Skills: Letting agents should have strong customer service skills to handle tenant complaints, maintain good relationships with landlords, and provide support to tenants throughout the lease period.
- Time Management Skills: A letting agent should be able to manage their time effectively to ensure that all tasks are completed within the given time frame.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Temp to perm, Apprenticeship, Freelance, Graduate, Internship
Part-time hours: 20 per week

**Salary**: £14,858.18-£53,707.04 per year
