Location: Leeds

**Salary**: £45,000 - £50,000

We are currently recruiting for an exciting opportunity, to work for a multi-disciplinary Consultancy who take up a wide range of projects all across the UK.

Our client is a well-established firm with over 30 years of experience in the field of Transport Planning, Infrastructure design, Highways and Drainage Design. They work across most sectors - residential, commercial, retail, energy, healthcare and educationand public sector. They offer steady workflow, progression opportunities, competitive salary and benefits with frequent reviews.

**As a Principal Civil Engineer you will be responsible for**:

- Managing projects, budgets and deadlines
- Assisting junior staff and correcting their designs
- Communicating with suppliers, clients, contractors, directors and authorities
- Negotiation of technical approvals
- Liaising with wider team to ensure co-ordination of the designs,

**Key skills for this Principal Civil Engineer role**:

- Expert infrastructure design knowledge
- Experience in areas of drainage design, highways design
- Detailed knowledge of Section 38, 278, 184, 185, 104, 106
- Ability to use professional software (AutoCAD, Civils3D, PDS, Microdrainage)
- Excellent communication skills
