**About the Role**

The purpose of your new job is to give the highest quality care within our homes. This will include:

- Provide leadership, training, support and motivation to the housekeeping team and ensure we maintain high standards of excellence
- Manage the stock control of all cleaning products, chemicals and laundry
- Responsible for rota management
- Maintaining consistently high standards of cleanliness and ensuring staff are all polite, courteous and look after the home needs,
- Enhancing the lives of our people by providing first class support

**About you**

**Do I need experience? **Yes You must be able to demonstrate a proven track record of supervising and managing a team of housekeeping staff. You must have commercial awareness, and understand the importance of working within costs & departmental budgets. In return, you will always be learning through our innovative training and support programme, giving you the best skills possible to ensure you reach your full potential.

Most importantly you should have good communication skills and to be able to show compassion, respect and patience to the people we support and to live our values.

Established since 1992, we're a charity and not-for-profit organisation that provides care and support for older people and adults with learning disabilities. Today, we have up to 1300 staff supporting over 1,100 residents at services across Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire.
