**Summary**

Role: Finance & Administration Assistant
Location: Sheffield
Type: Permanent (37.5 hours per week)

R3 Data Recovery is looking for an experienced full-time (37.5 hours per week) Finance & Administration Assistant who will shadow and work closely with the Finance & Administration Manager with a view to take over that role on their retirement. Upon taking over the management role a pay review would be renegotiated.

You will be responsible for learning the day-to-day duties including bookkeeping, accounts payable and receivables, payroll, assistance with end of month close and other related duties as assigned.

**Role Responsibilities**
- Purchase Ledger
- Sales Ledger
- Credit Control
- Procurement
- Reconciliation of Bank Statements
- Filing
- Updating reports daily
- Ad hoc duties

**Desireable Experience**
- Knowledge of working with Xero accounting system
- Knowledge of Excel

**Skills & Abilities**
- Well organised with good verbal, written and telephone communication skills
- Work well independently
- Manage deadlines, organise tasks and set priorities
- Ability to manage multiple tasks
- Flexible and adaptable to change
