Toolroom Engineer

Akton are recruiting on behalf of a client who are recruiting for two Toolroom Engineers to cover the Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire area.

The main terms and conditions applicable to the employment are as follows:
- Overtime payments, will be paid where the employee has worked over 40 hours during their basic working week (ie Monday to Friday). Overtime is calculated on your hourly rate of pay and will be paid at the following rates:

- Overtime 1 - £21.63
- Overtime 4 - £25.95
- The calculation of overtime is based on the following rules:

- Overtime 1 - Between 06:00am Monday to 06:00am Saturday
- Overtime 4 - Between 06:00am Saturday to 06:00am Monday

- Under the rules of Auto-Enrolment a pension scheme has been set-up. Current contributions are:

- Employee - 5.00%
- Employer - 3.00%

- The current shift system is a rotating 3 weeks shift pattern of days, nights and afters - Monday to Friday 8 hours per day x 5 days, making a total of 40 hours per week per shift.
- Call-outs, as and when required, on a rotating basis must also be covered.
- Holiday entitlement - you are entitled to statutory holiday leave of 5.6 weeks holiday per year including bank holidays. The holiday year runs from 1 January to 31 December each year and all employees joining or leaving part way through the holiday yearreceive pro rata holiday
