Part-time Bookkeeper

Are you a Bookkeeper with experience of working for an Accountancy firm? Are you looking for a part time role with the opportunity to work from home? If so then I have a great opportunity for you. I am working with a small but growing firm of Accountants in East Sussex who are looking to add an experienced Bookkeeper to join their team on a part time basis.

This would be a great move for someone who has worked as a bookkeeper in Practice and is looking for great flexibility on hours but still retaining a client facing role. You will work closely with the Accounts team and your responsibilities will include:

- Bookkeeping using Xero and QuickBooks software
- Preparation of management accounts for a range of clients
- Preparation and subsequent submission of VAT returns monthly and quarterly
- Preparation of Trial Balance for year-end accounts
- Maintaining regular client contact and being a first point of contact for client queries

To be considered, you may have previous bookkeeping experience and a strong understanding of the balance sheet with the ability to reconcile accounts and take to trial balance. You will also have a good eye for detail and a great work ethic along with excellent communication skills.
