**PANEL WIRER / TESTER**

£28,000 - £28,500 per annum plus benefits

8:00am-4:30pm, Monday - Friday

Crewkerne

I am proud to bring to market this brand-new hands-on role for a Panel Wirer. Within this role you will carry out various duties and responsibilities playing a key role within the business. Reporting directly to the Operations Director your role will be to inspect and test electrical panels used to control electrical machinery, following the procedures and wiring schematics using safe electrical testing panels and instruments.

**Duties and responsibilities**
- Wiring and assembly of electrical control panels
- Electrical assembly
- Soldering
- Testing electrical control panels used to control machinery based on PLC and Touchscreen (Omron).
- Manage control system functionality & components.
- Reading and interpreting Schematic Drawings accordingly,
- Carry out quality control checks for panel assembly and wiring using layout and wiring schematics diagrams.
- Manage cables, looms, crimping, routing, and cable terminating.
- Use electrical instruments such as a mustimeter and electrical hand tools, i.e., drill machines and jig saw.

**Skills & Experience required.**
- Ability to work under pressure at times.
- Ability to work well with others.
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong written communication skills.
- Office Package user
- Working knowledge of CX Omron software
