Kitchen Assistant

Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Kitchen Assistant to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in gaining hands-on experience in the food to go industry.

**Duties**:

- Prepare food to go meals for hot and cold food counters
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen by washing dishes & sanitizing surfaces.
- Assist in ordering, receiving and storing food deliveries
- Follow food safety guidelines and ensure proper handling of ingredients
- Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure efficient workflow and timely service
- Order ingredients for the Kitchen

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in a restaurant or food environment is preferred but not required
- Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From £12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

- Chef: 1 year (preferred)
- Catering: 1 year (preferred)
- Cooking: 1 year (preferred)
