Acquisitions Accountant

**Acquisitions Accountant - Acquisitive Business Group - Ascot (Hybrid working) - £50,000 - £60,000**

Our client, one of the leading brands with an instantly recognisable brand name, with a strong presence throughout the globe, are looking to add a technically strong Accountant to the business.

This role in particular focuses on the accounting, reporting, and control of acquisitions and disposals transactions
- Support the accounting, reporting and controls processes for acquisitions and disposals
- Ensure a sustainable reporting process is embedded in acquired entities, including guiding and working with operating centres to ensure that the transaction is correctly reflected in management and financial reporting
- Support accurate, timely, consistent and fair presentation of acquisition and disposal measures in the group financial statements
- Lead earnout reviews for the past acquisitions, reviewing forecasts against the business plan
- Maintain businesses processes, guidelines resources (including M&A accounting online page and trainings) related to acquisitions and disposals
- Participate in the preparation of quarterly results announcements and Annual Report and Accounts
- Support on engagement & wellbeing agenda
- Liaise with the external auditors
- Work with advisors on new acquisitions

Be newly ACA qualified and seeking a move from accountancy practice or have demonstrable experience in line with the above and fully qualified (CIMA/ ACCA).

Have been involved in the Due Diligence process of Mergers and Acquisitions for several years'
