An opportunity has arisen for a Mobile Plant Operator to join the operations team at our recycling site based in Blantyre. This is a full-time, permanent role.

**Key Roles and Responsibilities**:

- Stock movements, loading and unloading of vehicles and checking and sorting incoming material.
- Responsible for daily defect reporting and preventative maintenance duties
- Safe operation of mobile plant in accordance with site operational safety procedures.
- Other various adhoc duties

This is not an exhaustive list. You may also be required to carry out any other duties as required by the business that you are qualified/trained in that meet the requirements for the role.
- Be enthusiastic, highly motivated and organised with the ability to multitask and priorities workload.
- Demonstrate a flexible approach to daily activities.
- Take a safe and compliant approach to all aspects of the job.

**Experience and Qualifications**:

- You must have at least 1 year’s material handler experience preferably within the waste and recycling or scrap metal industry.
- Due to the location of the depot, a driving licence with access to a car is desirable.

**Salary and Benefits**:

- Earn £13.42 per hour.
- Permanent role
- Minimum 45 hours per week
- Overtime opportunities
- Shift pattern: Monday to Friday between 8am and 5pm
- 26 days holiday plus 4 public holidays at Christmas and New Year
- Holidays increase with length of service.
