Protective Care Group was established to provide bespoke and tailor-made support for young people with severe, complex needs, particularly those exhibiting challenging behaviour.

We specialise in providing a level of support that local authorities are often unable to and are looking for kind, caring and experienced Support Workers to play an integral part in the delivery of this.

At PCG, the complex care we provide is based up on a kind and focussed person-centred approach which is tailored to each young person as an individual. To ensure consistency, our shift patterns revolve around rolling 4 shifts on and 4 shifts off.

These include a combination of 12-hour day and night shifts, of which the day shifts are occasionally followed by sleeping nights, for which you are awarded an enhanced shift allowance.

**Our Support Workers have**:

- A Level 3 qualification in Child and Residential care (or a suitable alternative)
- A minimum of 12 months employed experience working with vulnerable young people.
- The ability to remain calm and non judgemental whilst working with behaviours and needs such as absconding, self harm, sexualised behaviour, attachment disorder, trauma and criminalisation.
- Sound knowledge of safeguarding policies.
- Understanding of CQC and OFSTED regulations and their importance.
- A full UK manual driving license and are happy and comfortable travelling for work.
- A genuine passion for delivering the highest standard of care to vulnerable individuals.
- Full right to work in the UK.

**Things for you to consider before applying**:

Our recruitment process will be supportive, informative, thorough and hopefully enjoyable If selected, you’ll have a first stage telephone interview, a second stage interview over Microsoft Teams then if successful at that point, we’ll invite you to our activity & assessment day held here at our offices in the Cotswolds. Plus, we’ll cover your costs for an overnight stay.
