Greengrocer

**The Role**

We're looking for someone who has a keen interest in seasonal fruit & vegetables, you maybe a chef,a farm worker or simply someone who has worked with fruit & veg before and appreicates the difficulties in keeping it fresh.

You maybe a young person who has had several years of experience either in a traditional high street greengrocer, fresh produce department in a supermarket or has worked on fruit & veg in another farm shop, or someone who has years of experience and wants to join our friendly team here at Jolly Nice Farm Shop.

You will take charge of the fresh produce department, maximising sales and minimising wastage, ordering the right products in the right quantity, to pre-empt customers buying habits according to the weather. This is a physically demanding role with a 7am start working Tuesday to Saturday.

Jolly Nice is a multi-award winning, family owned and run Farmshop, Drive Through, Coffee Shop & Outdoor Bar, halfway between Stroud and Cirencester. The shop is currently open 8am - 8pm, 364 days a year.
