**The Role**

We’re excited to be working with a long-standing digital agency based in Central Cheltenham, as they look to recruit an SEO Specialist on a permanent basis. This is a newly created role due to new client wins and expansion of existing client accounts. We’re looking for a seasoned SEO who is experienced across both technical and on-page SEO, with an agency background.

You will be assigned a portfolio of clients across a variety of industries and sectors, with some legacy smaller clients but also some large scale, enterprise level corporates. Your responsibilities will include conducting website audits, identifying bugs and website fixes and implementing changes or briefing the development team, as well as on-page content optimisation, content strategy, and client relationship management. We’re looking for someone who enjoys the variety that comes with working an all-encompassing SEO role, but who also really enjoys building strategies and forming close relationships with clients. This agency is very ROI driven when it comes to successful campaigns, and so we are looking for someone who is commercial and looks beyond the vanity metrics we can often get impressed by in organic search

This is an agency with a great reputation for quality of work, and as such, we are looking for someone who has high standards when it comes to client comms and of course, delivery of work. You’ll be someone who is always looking to keep up to date with SEO trends and wanting to do the very best work for your clients. In return, you’ll be provided plenty of ongoing training and development, as well as an environment in which to really flourish.

**Skills and Experience**
- Ideally 3+ years’ experience in an SEO role, agency-side
- Strong knowledge across both technical and on-page SEO
- Familiar with Screaming Frog, Moz, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and Google Analytics or GA4
- Strong experience with conducting site audits, competitor analysis, and keyword research
- Ability to develop high-level SEO and content strategies

**Benefits**

In return for your experience, there is a salary of up to £40k depending on experience, as well as over 30 days’ holiday on top of Bank Holidays, a hybrid working pattern, heavily subsidised secure parking in central Cheltenham, regular pay reviews, and private medical cover, as well as a free, onsite gym.
