**Contract**: Full Time,
**Working Hours**: 37.5 hours per week
**Location**: RAF Flylingdales

As an Mechatronics Apprentice, you will undergo training to become proficient in maintaining mechanical services within a Power Station. Your responsibilities will include routine maintenance, fault finding, engine adjustment, and assisting with engine control and instrument calibration. Additionally, you’ll work on gas systems, installation, service, and testing.

One day a week you will attend a college to undertake the Electronic and Mechanical Maintenance course.

**You will be trained in**:
**Routine Maintenance**: Learn and perform routine maintenance tasks related to mechanical services within the Power Station.
**Fault Finding**: Develop skills to identify and troubleshoot issues with equipment.
**Engine Adjustment and Performance Testing**: Assist in adjusting engines and conducting performance tests.
**Engine Control & Instrument Calibration**: Gain proficiency in engine control systems and instrument calibration.
**Gas Systems**: Work on gas system installation, service, and testing.
**Small Electrical Installation Work**: Assist with small electrical installations.
**Service Records**: Maintain accurate service records.
**General Maintenance**: Support overall maintenance activities at the Power Station.

**You will need**:
A qualification in electrical and mechanical maintenance

It is desirable that you have experience of operating within either an MOD or Construction/Property Maintenance environment.

You must be able to pass SC Clearance to be considered for this role.

You must be a British national to be considered for this role.
