**Title: Warehouse & Sales Apprentice (this will ideally suit a school or college leaver )**

**Location**: Portadown BT62

**Hours**:8:00am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday

**Summary of the Apprenticeship Role**

As a Warehouse & Sales Apprentice, you will be working in all aspects of the business from Warehouse - stock control to Sales dealing with customer service and sales. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone like you to start your career in the Electrical Wholesale sector.

We are looking for a highly motivated apprentice to join our busy branch. After full training, responsibilities will include:

- Picking and Packing orders
- Stock control
- Goods in / out / Managing stock in and out of the Warehouse
- Answering Telephone
- Completing the sales paperwork in the office
- Serving customers on the Trade Counter

**Apprenticeship Training**

As an apprentice you will complete a Warehouse Level 2 qualification with a national Training Provider. Your apprenticeship Training will focus on your job, is completed at the workplace, and you will be allocated a tutor and a study session in your working week.

**Components of the Warehouse Level 2 Apprenticeship**
- Competence/Knowledge based qualification
- Essential Skills IT/ Maths / English if needed
- End Point Assessment - Final Knowledge Test, Observation and Discussion

- Good communicator
- Excellent Maths and English skills (GCSE Grade A-C/9- 4)
- Hardworking individual who is self-motivated

- Ambitious and keen to work and learn

Once you have successfully completed your apprenticeship, and all being well, there will be a full-time role with the company. From there you could progress to other job roles such as external sales, team leader, assistant manager and even Branch Manager.
