**Who you’ll be supporting & more about the role**:
This an exciting opportunity for caring, compassionate and talented support workers in Stockport to work in an established service, supporting 4 people. This service will be supporting people with learning disabilities & mental health. This is a great opening to make a real difference to the lives of others and gain great development.

This service is a semi detached property with an interlinking door to next door.
_(the support workers here are required to work over 2 services) _It has a small garden and communal areas too - the lounge and kitchen.

The people supported here enjoy a variety of different things, such as baking, shopping, going to the cinema, going out for meals and generally socialising with friends and family. 1 person here attends a day centre during the day and another works in a school kitchen.

This is a lone working service. Typical shifts at this service are usually - 7am-9.30am and 4pm - 10pm Monday to Friday. Weekends 8am-10pm, sleep in every night. All shared over both houses.

With experience working in a health or social care setting, you will have an upbeat positive manner, as well as having a genuine passion for supporting people to become a part of their local and wider community.

You will also have experience working with people supported who present behaviours that require intensive support planning and management to ensure their safety and quality of life at all times.
