An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Estates Officer (Operational) to join the Estates Team based at Carleton Clinic Carlisle

The Estates Department is responsible for maintaining and repairing all buildings, services and equipment for properties currently owned or occupied by NCIC, CNTW and NUTH NHS Trusts across Cumbria. This includes working in Acute and Community Hospitals, Mental Health units, Health Centres/Clinics and Office Buildings

The post holder is responsible for ensuring that the Estates department completes its Annual PPM programme to ensure it meets its mandatory and statutory obligations to assist with the compliance of the Trust needs. This involves managing the maintenance programme and ensuring that it is carried out effectively which includes the activities of the Trusts specialist technical, engineering department, Estates maintenance staff, Contractors and Suppliers on complex sites.

The post holder must have extensive operational managerial experience, wide range of communication skills, leadership qualities and a high degree of integrity. The post holder will be expected to have a thorough specialist and non-specialist technical knowledge to be able to carry out this role.

In addition to having the ability to provide specialist knowledge and technical advice across the organisation the post holder must be able to practically train others and demonstrate a professional qualitative standard of service delivery.
