**We are a Limited Company friendly organisation.**

**Area for post vacancy: Dover, Kent**

We specialise in the provision of support, concierge and safeguarding services to providers of supported housing for vulnerable people. This includes a variety of client groups such as young people, those suffering with mental health and homeless people as an example.

We are looking for people who have exceptional people skills and can demonstrate that they:

- have great communication skills,
- are reliable, responsible and can remain professional and calm in all situations.
- are a good decision maker
- have empathy with a range of vulnerable people

**The key aspects of the role include**:

- Rate of pay £10.90 - £12.00 per hour (dependent on contract arrangements)
- Full time - 10-hour night shifts (4 on, 4 off - 22:15 - 08:15)
- Working within a supported housing project as a Concierge & Safeguarding Officer. As part of the role you will be working with service users who have various support needs (e.g. mental health). **You will need to have access to your own car, as you will need to complete checks to various properties within the area where required.**:

- Be familiar and alert to safeguarding issues and concerns.
- Work as part of a team in all aspects of project work
- Handle enquiries on reception
- Assist co-workers in any other issues around support in the building.
- Leading on any emergencies that may arise including liaising with emergency services as appropriate.
- Carrying out various building health and safety checks.
- Maintaining and recording all incidents or important occurrences and carry out effective handovers.
- an **Enhanced** **DBS Certificate less than 3 years old (Essential)**:

- **A full UK driving license (Essential)**:

**Salary**: £10.90-£12.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- Night shift
- Weekend availability

**Experience**:

- Supported Housing (or Care): 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence & access to your own car for work (required)
- Enhanced DBS (required)

Work Location: In person
