Job Title: Retail Relations Coordinator

Reports to: Retail Relations Manager

Contract: 1 year full-time contract

Role Purpose: To assist the Retail Relations Manager in establishing new and maintaining existing relationships with our tenants, and to assist in research, administrative duties and disseminate knowledge of current retail trends and performance indicators

Key Responsibilities

Retail relationship support
- To assist and work with the Retail Relations Manager to forge strong relationships with all occupiers and support to build up a strong network of contacts in store and head offices via one-to-one meetings
- Support with continuing to roll out ‘Retailer Focus’ strategy including a retailer monthly newsletter, gathering content working with the Retail Relations Manager
- To ensure face-to-face retailer contact is maintained in the Retail Relations Manager’s absence. Effectively collating, benchmarking, and producing specific sales intelligence and reports
- Pass back key retailer information to the Retail Relations Manager and continually collate, record tenant research and report when needed
- To update the comms packs ensuring they are kept up to date and distributed to tenants on a regular basis
- To assist the Retail Relations Manager in analysing turnover tenant performance, bringing target retailers to the Marketing Department’s attention with a view to driving additional sales

Administration support
- To manage the retailer sales collection scheme and ensure store compliance. Complete turnover spreadsheet tracker throughout the month and endeavour to send tracker to Springboard within the first two weeks of each month.
- Request monthly turnover from head office contacts and ‘top up’ turnover lease retailers
- To ensure tenant management of the company’s gift card scheme with assistance from the customer care team
- Supporting on survey analysis and data entry and assist with reporting on retailer satisfaction surveys on a yearly basis also keeping ‘CMK Contact database spreadsheet’ up to date by completing a quarterly audit
- Review each retailers’ details on centre website ensuring they are up to date and review regularly managing the ‘retailer portal’ system ensuring all retailers have logins and are supported with the use of the system
- Ensure all retailers offers, jobs and events are loaded on to the retailer portal

New Retailer Support
- To liaise with the agents and new tenants to ensure that vacant units or those newly leased are kept looking tidy and attractive to customers and assist with tenant viewings where necessary
- Assist with ‘onboarding’ process for new retailers including initial meetings with new brands
- Support with ensuring performance of new retailers is monitored closely within the early months of trading
- To co-ordinate market intelligence, create market data for merchandise groups and prospective retailers to aid the decision-making process.

Projects
- Support with the role out of the new ‘Retailer app’
- Work alongside the Retail Relationship Manager to create an induction project for new managers in the centre
- To carry out other adhoc projects and duties as deemed necessary by the Line Manager and carry out any other duties in accordance with the needs of the business

Compliance
- Ensure all process and procedures comply with CBRE, operational and statutory requirements
- Adopt a health and safety culture

Person Specification/Requirements
- Previous experience preferably within a retailer environment
- IT literate with experience of Word, Excel, Outlook and database administration/utilisation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Good analytical reporting and presentation skills
- Self-motivated, ability to show initiative and develop creative solutions
- Degree level desirable or equivalent qualification
