CNC Setter

We are recruiting for a CNC Setter to join a small team in Frome, setting and operating Doosan CNC Lathes with Fanuc controls. This position is a permanent role.

The components that they manufacture range in size from 8mm to 800mm and batch quantities from 1 to 100. Materials used included mild & alloy steel, aluminium and plastics.

Good engineering background in a similar environment.
Good standard of work and ability to do first off inspection using shop measuring equipment.
Be able to read drawings and maintain tolerances.
Ability to complete job sheets.
Adhere to quality assurance procedures and processes.
Experience in using Fanuc controls, including on machine programming.
Ability to perform regular simple machine maintenance checks.
This position is working a 40 hour week Monday -Thursday 7.30 - 16.30 and Friday 7.30 - 13.30.
They have a 10 minute tea break at 10.30am and a 30 minutes lunch break at 13.00 hrs.
This position is paying £13.00-£15.00 per hour depending on experience.
