Head of Housekeeping

Established, compassionate and friendly residential home based in heart of Llandybie, close to Ammanford Town Centre and located minutes from the M4, are looking for a Head of Housekeeping to join our expanding team.

Contractual hours 40 hours per week.

Your role is to ensure that you deliver great standards to our home so we can be proud of.

Also ensuring that our residents have a clean home from home.
- Coordinate daily, with all Housekeeping Staff to ensure delivery of a service that will help to enhance the homely feeling.
- Ensure the reporting process for maintenance issues with rooms and areas is known by all Housekeeping Staff
- Respond efficiently and accurately to any arising issues relating to the housekeeping department
- Organise and maintain stock levels of essential products such as is required for delivery of the housekeeping service
- Have a keen eye for improving efficiency and reduction of waste
- Mentor new housekeeping staff with the correct operational procedures for the continued high-quality service
- Check quality control of other housekeepers and act accordingly to remedy any failures
- Ensure Company Policies are always followed for Health and Safety and COSHH
- Ensure all reasonable tasks related to your role are completed as asked by the Management team.
- Attend Training and Refresher Training sessions as required by the management.

Essential:

- Must be over the age of 18 years.
- Must have experience of working in a domestic setting.
