Our exciting and rapidly growing client is looking to take on a Procurement Coordinator who is looking to progress within the company. This role is vital to the development of the business and has plenty of opportunities to get hands on with projects. Essentially,you will be working alongside the Procurement team to ensure data management is maintained and helping with all other procurement activities.
Key duties and responsibilities of a Procurement Coordinator:
- Ensuring that data is completed and accurate
- Making sure product data requirements are in line with the business needs
- Responsible for managing supplier contact documents
- Ensuring documents and agreements are compliant with the company's accounting policies
- Being part of taking on and removing products
- Being in touch with suppliers to gather required product information
- Generating reports
- Manage how the change of product prices will be communicated throughout the business
- Manage how the addition of new lines will be communicated throughout the business
- Reporting to the Head of Procurement
- Previous experience within procurement/pricing/buying
- Existing knowledge of data and information processing
- Excellent communication skills
- Project management abilities
- Can work to a schedule
- Can think on your feet
- Proven abilities of delivering effective reports
- Good at working in a team to ensure overall business success
- Excellent numeracy skills
- Attention to detail
- Competent on IT systems (mainly Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel)
