BarEMS, part of G&A Barnie Group Ltd, have an excellent opportunity for a Winder to work for a leading engineering company.

**Location: Livingston**

**As a Winder you will be responsible for the works below**:

- Must have previous experience of Inspect and repair electric motors (AC and DC).
- To bring electro/mechanical knowledge to our Winding Shop, specifically to rewind AC and DC motors, stators, armatures, and transformers.
- Issue reports and required work scopes to allow quotations to be submitted to customers based on findings from inspections.
- Ensure winders are performing in accordance

with the industry standards and regulations.
- Provide training for all apprentices.

**Essential skills for the role are**:

- Accurately record data.
- Follow health and safety guidelines.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and PPE.
- Customer and solution focussed.
- Driving license.
- Electrical or mechanical qualifications (NVQ/City & Guilds).
