The Homerton Anal Neoplasia Service (HANS) is a referral centre that provides a screening and treatment service for people at risk of, or who have developed, precancerous lesions in the genital area, including the anal canal, the skin around the anus, penis, vagina and vulva. The service is located within the Homerton Sexual Health Service (HSHS).
MDT/ HSIL Coordinator will Co-ordinate and facilitate the function of MDT meetings, record outcomes of patients discussed and treatment/management plans, and distribute
- Establish effective communication networks with clinicians and other members of the MDT and actively participate in the development and change of any systems. As a result, ensure patient pathways are streamlined, and delays are mitigated.
- Collate data for audits is collected and submitted appropriately and promptly—proactive engagement with clinical teams to ensure data completeness and validation.
- Contribute and develop the effective utilisation of the database in respect to MDTs, and Patient Tracking
- Provide administration support to the Governance Team as required.
- Maintain the confidentiality of all matters relating to patients, colleagues
1. To Coordinate the Trust Multi-disciplinary Team (MDT HSIL) meetings and provide administrative support within HANS
1. To track HSIL MDT patients and ensure they receive appropriate appointments
1. To cross cover HANS Pathway Coordinator for leave/absence
1. Ensure all HSIL patients with a potential to breach HANS waiting time targets are identified and presented at the respective multidisciplinary team meetings to the clinicians involved.
1. Manage individual pathways within the MDT HSIL forum to ensure delays are minimized or eradicated.
1. To liaise with the HANS coordinator and administrator ensuring that appointments are offered promptly and within the time limit as defined by the clinical team
