The Fence Gate Inn is looking for a **Full time Bartender** to join our team

This role is based both behind the bar, and on the bar floor, of our beautiful Georgian property, serving premium lagers, spirits, wines and cask to our lovely guests. This Award Winning, independent, family run business has stood strong for 40+ years, with an exceptional reputation for excellent food and service to match.

You will need experience for this role, and due to the nature of responsibility you MUST be over 18.

You will be able to demonstrate you are pro-active, organised, and have a keen eye for detail, along with all those little things that make an experience at The Fence Gate so special. We do open 7 days a week, so there are flexible, straight shifts to suit, with a mixture of days, evenings and weekends. There are also further opportunities to train and develop across the wider business, should you would wish to do so.

**What we're looking for**:

- Practical, working knowledge of bars, and providing table service.
- The ability to work proactively whilst alone, and to gel with your team members.
- Changing kegs, managing cask ales, and cellar maintenance.
- Cash & card handling for transactions and till operation.
- Stock management and rotation.
- Meeting & greeting guests - to be customer facing in a polite and welcoming manner.
- A clear communicator, able to converse with your regulars and pre-empt their needs.
- Be well presented at all times.
- A cheerful "can-do" attitude.
- Take pride in a job well done and look for those smaller details.
- Promote the visions & values of the business at all times.
