Job Summary:
We are seeking a BI Analyst to be part of a growing team in a well known organisation. You, the BI analyst, will be responsible for designing, creating, and implementing financial reports and planning processes that align with the company's overall strategy.If you have a talent for turning complex financial data into easy-to-understand insights and dashboards, and are a collaborative team player, we want to hear from you. This is a fast-paced environment where you will have the opportunity to use your analyticalskills, forecasting abilities, and attention to detail to make an impact on the business.
Job Responsibilities:
Develop and implement performance indicators and metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of financial strategies across various trading segments.
Compile and present analysis data in spreadsheets, documents, and Power BI reports for distribution to executive management.
Educate and communicate with other departments and executive management on the company's financial status, performance vs strategy and future financial plans.
Perform audits on financial processes and work with the accounting department to ensure alignment with FP&A on reporting across multiple trading segments.
Provide a detailed commentary to executive management on the organization's performance in relation to financial objectives and strategies.
Collaborate with executive management to discuss and determine financial benchmarks, strategy, and attainment of organizational goals.
Key Requirements for the Role:
Strong communication and presentation skills
Excellent organizational skills
Ability to work under tight deadlines and time pressures
A keen eye for well-formatted documents that use the appropriate visualizations for the data reported
Experience in building reports, databases, and processes with simple refresh methods
Ability to communicate and summarize key findings both written and verbally
Strong understanding of business requirements.
